Messe in Brazil

Messe Frankfurt began its activities in Brazil in 1993 and until 1997 acted in the country with a representation office in the city of São Paulo.

In January 1998 two new companies were created, determining a new stage of its actions, the branch Messe Frankfurt do Brasil, in São Paulo, and Guazzelli Feiras Messe Frankfurt, in Alphaville, in the city of Barueri, SP. In June 2004, the 50% of the joint venture were incorporated by Messe Frankfurt do Brasil, which took on the name of Messe Frankfurt Feiras Ltda., becoming a subsidiary company of the German company Messe Frankfurt GmbH, one of the largest and most traditional fair organizers in the world.
